Our Cruise was amazing!

So Stuart and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary a couple months early...we had such a great time. In 1997, when Stuart and I started planning our wedding I was living in Las Vegas and he was living in WA State... we didn't have a lot of money for a honeymoon so we said on our 10th Wedding Anniversary we would go on a nice trip...I can hardly believe the time has come (and went!) During the cruise there were SO MANY older couples...and I mean OLDER...they were so funny...they didn't believe we had been married for 10 years...they all thought we were on our honeymoon!

...and even a little sun poisoning couldn't get in the way of our fun either LOL

Stuart and I arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico late in the evening on Friday...we enjoyed dinner in a little cafe where to our dismay no one spoke English...so after we laughed our heads off we ate some yummy pork asada but we passed on the plantains. After dinner we walked several blocks back to our hotel...and the next morning we checked out and grabbed a cab and headed to the ship...

We set sail late that night and got to St. Thomas early the next morning...then we sailed to St. Kitts were we snorkled...next we went to Grenada (which was my FAVORITE island)

then to Bonaire and Aruba. I can't wait to go on another Cruise...Camryn is already planning a Disney Cruise for the family somehow she has figured out how to go online to the Disney Cruise...it's gonne be awhile before we can do that one LOL

Happy Secretaries Day!!!

...so my hubby came home last night and told me I needed to make his secretaries a gift...which really isn't a problem except ALL my scrapbooking stuff is in boxes and I'm right in the middle of packing for our trip...but I tried not to complain TOO MUCH and this is what I came up with...this morning I needed to make another chocolate run because these buckets needed MORE chocolate in them. I am so happy to say that they were a big hit at the office :)

Page Plans had their 1st Reveal today!

This first LO Sketch was made by Chris Ross...here's the sketch and here's my interpretation of it...

"Promise Collection by Shabby Princess, Zig Zag Stitching by Sande Kreiger, Font Used: CK Ali's Writing."

...so this is how Page Plans will work...each Sunday a new set of sketches will be revealed and the Design Teams will take on each one. You will have the opportunity to complete one of the sketches and enter it in the weekly challenge for a little goodie package. Sketches will post on Sunday - so they will need your entries by the following Saturday and they will announce the winner on Sunday with the next set of sketches. If you have any questions at all - please feel free to email Lesli and Chris at pageplans@gmail.com.
Hope to see some of you over at Page Plans!

Spring Break is almost over...

and the packing is almost done! Today we had a fun day...we started the day off by driving to the Valley and having Krispy Kreme for Breakfast and then heading back up North for my Doctors Appointment...got some good news there...I've lost 11 pounds since January 10th...would be 3-5 lighter if I wouldn't have started another med. about a month ago...going off this one real soon! Losing this weight has been a big deal for me since it has taken me so long to finally start losing it...after Mason was born I never thought I would lose these unwanted pounds...he's turning 4 this summer...don'tcha think its about time? lol I also got our sea sickness patches ordered for our cruise...wasn't sure how to order those so we got them for the whole 7 days! After that appointment we headed downtown and met Stuart for lunch did a little shopping and then heading out to the park...the kids were disappointed because the BIG Radio Flyer Wagon was being worked on and they couldn't play on it...I got these pictures today...we finally had a decent day here in Spokane...partly cloudy but warming up it was supposed to be about a high of 51 - I'm not sure if it made it there or not but it did turn out to be a pretty nice day.

What a day! Im glad it's almost over...one more kitchen box to pack and the rest of the closet!

I always LOVE a great Challenge!

I did this LO last night for Lesli's Blog Sketch Challenge...trying to get my mind off all the packing and blowing snow coming my way LOL.

Photoshop was giving me the hardest time...I got all my drop-shadows in and then I'm not quite sure what I did...but they all disappeared...and no matter what I did I couldn't get them back...so I decided to just finished it off minus the drop-shadows.
Stuart took this photo of me and my sisters this last weekend...needless to say he's not the best with a camera...my sister's and I all haven't all been together since the Fall of 2006 - it was nice to be together and if it wasn't for my Dad insisting on us all getting for a picture we wouldn't even have this one..."thanks dad!"
