Just wanted to share what we did last night...

...the kids couldn't wait to carve their pumpkins...we still have one more to carve but last night this is all we could complete. Camryn really was disgusted by the insides of her pumpkin and Mason just wasn't strong enough to do what he wanted to do. After our carving was done we had a snack of ghost cookies and warm apple cider. I picked up some of these mulling spices at William Sonoma and I must say that these spices are the best!

...and the winner is...

ME!!! For the last four weeks I have been participarting in a contest at SWG. SWG and Pebbles Inc. teamed up for the month of October for a great contest. Each Monday a new challenge was issued and our assignments had to be uploaded by Sunday of that week!

I was named the Survivor Football winner (the last scrapper standing) and will receive $65 dollars (retail) from Pebbles: 2 chalks/shimmers, 1 kit, and embellishments.

During this contest was the first time I've ever used any Pebbles Inc. product. Their stuff is amazing. I can't wait to use my prizes. Thank you SWG for having such a fantastic contest to participate in. And THANK YOU to Pebbles Inc. for making such great product and for a great prize package!

Craft Warehouse Assignments

...in August it was sad to say goodbye to Craft Warehouse...I had been designing with them for the last 6 months...I was thrilled when I was recently asked to make a few more projects...these two paint cans will be going to one of their Oregon stores.

...just a few projects..

from the last couple of weeks...

This was made for Chris' shower...I got the idea for the tag on 2Peas, but I can't remember the artists name...but I'm so thankful she shared her creations so I could make this one :)

Both this card and frame where made for someone who was giving them as gifts. I totally love the frame and plan on recreating that design on one of my own LOs very soon! Thanks Joan

Fondant...and Luster Dust

Yesterday afternoon I sat down and started making the centers for Chris and Ian's wedding cupcakes...I made almost 200 of these little balls and had luster dust everywhere...the wedding is quickly approaching and now I have to get going on the fondant flowers!

...the last posts about cakes...

...at least for awhile. Last Thursday I made these cupcakes for Ben's class to celebrate his 8th Birthday...

Then on Friday I made him this cake...

Last night was my last night of Cake Decorating Class...I just couldn't bring myself to make anymore cake - I totally cheated and decorated a styrofoam form :)

Challenge #3 at SWG

...here's my LO for Week #3 - Challenge was to use 90% Pebbles Inc. I have such a great friend who mailed me some Pebbles since I could not find any here in Spokane...I couldn't wait to scrap these photos of Ben either...just a few weeks ago we bought and planted some Autumn Blaze Maples...the leaves already fell to the ground and Ben was so anxious to get out there and rake them up.

This LO has pushed me through to the last round and one of my "Theodore" Teammates will win this contest - good luck ladies!

More LOs for SWG

This LO is part of the October Survivor Football Contest at SWG (Week #2). I needed to create a LO provoked by the word "hero" and this is what I came up with.

This LO was completed for Karen from Mustard Moon. Her challenge was posted for any member of SWG...to create a LO using 60% Mustard Moon product and 40% of other products...this one was so fun to make - I just love how it turned out!

Reminisce DT Search '07

This LO got me an Honorable Mention during the Reminisce DT Search. The gal who got offered a position on their DT was so well deserving - her projects were absolutely amazing!!! I don't even have this LO - it's up in the LSS back in the Tri-Cities, I'll have to stop in and tell them when I'm in town this weekend.

A Gift: Altered Picture Frame

I was asked to make this gift for someone to give to their dear friend who will be swimming in the Coral Reef Swim in St. Croix next week. This is a five mile swim...I was thrilled when I was asked to make this special gift.

Scrappin' Sports @ SWG

I completed this LO for a contest over at SWG scrappingwithgrace.com . I keep asking Ben if he would like to play soccer again...he just NEVER says yes! I'm not giving up hope that he may want to play again someday. This is a 2-pager...both sides are 8.5x11 - I had fun with this one.

Reminisce LOs - I really like this stuff!

Yesterday I was able to finish up these LOs. I used mostly Reminisce and threw in a bit of other product as well.

...and yet another CARD...

I'm finally getting my cousins wedding card in the mail...it took me longer then I expected but it's done now and going in the mail tomorrow :)

CARDS and more CARDS

The other day I was able to sit down for a few minutes and use some scraps to make these cards. The majority of product I used was by Reminisce - gotta love it!!!

Now I'm decorating cakes!

...really just trying too LOL :) I know this isn't a scrappin' project...I guess it could be...last night was my first time ever decorating a cake like this...I've decorated cakes before but it just usually consisted of slapping some icing down and maybe a car or something. Last week was Week #1 of my Wilton Cake Decorating Class and last night was my first try at making roses...looks like I need some more practice. Though I must admit they weren't too hard. Too bad it's Ben's Birthday coming up - I don't think he'll like roses on his birthday cake!
