I got some great news today!

Scrapbook Trends is putting out a new idea book called Go Digital! I'm going to have not one...not two...not three BUT four layouts in there! I am beyond excited!!! Two of the layouts that were picked up were pretty new layouts, but the others were made a while ago...one in February and one last summer...both layouts are ones that I really love. The great thing is there will be one layout of each of my kiddos and a layout of one of my favorite treats...and no its not STARBUCKS lol...thanks for letting me share my happy news! oh....and a special shout out to Jennifer for telling me about the call in the first place! Thank you!!! You will all see her in there too :)

Craft Warehouse: Scrapbook Queen Contest

I completed my layout and have it posted on their site...

A total of ten Scrapbook Queens will be chosen, with one winner coming from each of the Craft Warehouse stores and one Craft Warehouse employee. Winners will be chosen by 50% public vote and 50% judge’s vote. A Grand Prize winner will be chosen from the nine customer Scrapbook Queens.

Public voting will take place August 18th thru August 24th online. Each person may vote for one (1) person from each Craft Warehouse store, plus one (1) employee.

The top 50% of vote getters in each category will be judged by a panel of scrapbooking experts August 25—28. If a store has less than 5 entrants, all entries will be judged by the expert panel. The winner will be announced in each store on September 6, 2008, at 1:00 pm...gosh that seems like forever away huh? Well here's my layout...

For all of you who visit my blog...I plan on putting a *REMINDER* up closer to voting time...for you to check out the site and place your vote...I hope you vote for me...but if you see a layout more deserving definitely vote for it :)

Four years ago today...

...Mason was born!

I can hardly believe its been 4 years already. This little guy has been through some hard times yet he always has a smile on his face (well most of the time) and he is the funniest little guy ever! Before we headed out to my mom's this morning to start preparing for Mason's Birthday Party we stopped at STARBUCKS, I let Mason order himself.

Today while looking through some photos I found this one of Mason and my dad so of course I had to snap another before my dad rushed off to work...boy Mason's gotten big huh? lol...they grow up to fast sniff sniff sniff :(

Mason had a great Birthday - at least he seemed to...he loved his cupcakes and his gifts

...he had a fun day...now we are soooooo tired and we need to call it a night!

oops I lied! LOL

I forgot to post this!!! My sketch layout from Di Hickman's Blog This photo was taken of Mason this year on the 4th of July - isn't he just the sweetest? tfl

...this is my last post before heading to Chicago!

I made these over the weekend! This first photo of Camryn was taken on Father's Day in California during the Simon Family Reunion...it was one of those "quick snapshots" I had the camera in my hand and Camryn was blowing bubble's - and I just yelled "CAMRYN" and as she looked up and I snapped the picture! I loved how it turned out and couldn't wait to use it! The next layout is also of Camryn...these photos were taken in early June - before school got even...we went to the BMX Track at Horn Rapids and she was so determined to do it this year! She's been watching Ben do it and darn it - she was going to give it a try too! I don't have any pictures of this on the layout but there were a few hills that she couldn't make it up and so she was trying to walk her bike up them...she couldn't do that either...so Ben had to help her out...oh I will just add those to this post because they were just so darn cute...tfl
