This last week...

...has felt like a bad dream and I will be able to wake up at any moment...and all of this will not be happening...but unfortunately I know its not a dream its very real...

...last Monday my dad called me to tell me I needed to come over he had something to tell me and he couldn't tell me over the phone...the news of him having a brain tumor has been a shock to all of us! He will be having surgery on Tuesday in Spokane ,WA. This last week I already had driven him there twice and we will have alot more drives to Spokane ahead of us.

For my friends who have prayed and added him to their prayer lists THANK YOU...please continue praying as I know how powerful the power of prayer can be...

I made a piece of framed art...this is my good friend and I...a picture taken about a month ago...I have spent ALOT of hours thinking and worrying and PRAYING for her this week. Looking forward to seeing her soon...

Thank Goodness it's Thursday!

...what a week it has been - I don't think I have had any time to just sit down and relax...I've just been running and running!

And with it being Thursday...that means its one day closer to the weekend....YEAHHHHH!!!

On today's LO I used {Check Out This Kid} and the March Scrapping Kit {My Favorite Things}.

Recently, at the kids' school they celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday and when Mason came home...he had been transformed into the Cat in the Hat...isn't he just adorable? He makes me laugh!

GUESS WHAT???

I am thrilled to share some news I've known about now for several days...I've been asked to be a part of the Piggy Tales Academy Design Team! This is a new team created by Piggy Tales to design with their new monthly kits. Piggy Tales is absolutely adorable and I just LOVE their new collections! Since saying GOODBYE to GCD Studios in February...I am very happy to say HELLO to Piggy Tales in March...I couldn't be more excited to design with their poducts!

This Is A Happy Life!

Today is a great day...the weather has just been wonderful this week...and it kinda stinks that we'll be cooped up in the car all day but we are on our way to get our brand new dining room table and chairs...so its time for a ROAD TRIP...once we get there we will pick up the covered trailer and then get our brand new table and chairs...I can not wait to eat together as a family at this table...and the best part of all Mason will finally have his very own chair and he won't have to use a stool! Now the next two deliveries will bring us our outside lights which should be coming tomorrow actually and then our new washer and dryer which will be delivered to our new house! Yeah!!!

Today I have a couple of cards to share...

I am still loving the Dear Lizzy "Spring" line...I grabbed a bit of MME and I also used the NEW March Stampin' Store Kit {Adventures in Happiness}.

I might be hard to tell here but I paper pieced the heart flower (again with scraps from the Dear Lizzy "Spring" line) and I used {Life's Little Moments} "you" by Ippity and the March KOTM {Rockin' It Unity Style}.

Happy Thursday :)

There is nothing better...then watching my kiddos play and laugh with Stuart's dad...we continue to be thankful for each and everyday that he is still here with us.

...yesterday I was just WAY TOO BUSY to play Couture Cardstocks Daily Challenge...but this evening after fighing with the computer and printer I was able to get today's challenge done...just wish I could have taken a better photo of this card for you...Today's Challenge: Create a project using something you printed yourself using your computer!

WOW...Monday...

...came and went so fast! It was a great Monday...busy but great!
When I finally had a chance to sit down...I made this card for the Couture Cardstock challenge on their BLOG: make a card or LO using yellow CS. I don't own any of this awesome CS but visited this both at CHA and it is really amazing...I wish someone local would start carrying it!

It is so hard to get a good photo at night :( ...sorry about that!
