Before and After

...yeah I know these aren't the best photos...its always hard for me to give up my camera...and this is the reason why...but at least I have something to document this day.

Yesterday I had 13 inches of my hair cut off...and I didn't do it just because I needed a change...I was perfectly happy with my hair...it had taken me 4 years to grow it out...

These days it seems like cancer just surrounds me and though I have my health...the feeling of hopelessness I have felt has caused me a tremendous amount of sadness...so I decided to donate my hair to {Locks of Love}. I am happy to know that my hair is going to make a child very happy! But I also know that I am supporting the ones I love who are fighting this terrible disease CANCER. I can't take away their pain, or how sick they are feeling, I can't give them the energy they need to do the basic everyday things or the things they love to do - but I really hope these people know how much they mean to me and if I could do anything and I mean anything I would do it!

I have started the day out great...got the kids off on the bus and then went out for a run...I haven't ran since October when I did the 1/2 Marathon...some of you know I've been having a lot of issues since then...in December I had x-rays show I had a broken tailbone, fractures in my pelvis and pubic bones...its surprising enough that I even ran that race...but I did and it was one of the proudest moments in my life...I had all kinds of hopes of running several more races in 2010...but I just haven't been able to run...in March I met with an Orthopedist and I also found out that my pelvis is tilted...now how in the world did this happen and why haven't I known about it before now? ...well I have missed running...and with the amount of stress I've had in my life lately I really needed it...so this morning I just did it! ...and it felt great...by no means did I go fast or far for that matter...but the short 2 miles felt GREAT! (now I hope I'm not paying for it later...)

...today I also want to share a couple of new digital LOs!

How can the weekend almost be over!

...the days are just going by so fast - we have more to do then hours in a day! Between having three kiddos in sports, working again, moving to the new house...and still trying to clean out the old one...I just can't find any time to do anything except eat and sleep and I'm barely doing that!

I usually share my digital LOs on Sunday's but the latest LOs I have...have been picked up for the *NEW* Memory Makers Big Book of Scrapbook Ideas book ...so I can't share those so in the mean time I can share a few cards that I haven't had a chance to share...

Welcome back to HIP HOP!!!

...and boy do I have several things to share with you! With Unity Releasing THREE new stamp sets today and welcoming back my dad from the hospital I have 4 LOs today! (Excuse my photos...I know they aren't the best - its been so windy here that every time I tried to take pictures my LOs almost blew away!)

My dad came home from the hospital on Sunday and his surgery went very well...95% of the tumor was removed! He is doing better then we all could have expected and I want to THANK everyone for all their support and prayers "Thank you!"

...today also is a BIG day for us...we actually can start moving into our new house (but only if the painters finished everything up)...so little by little today we'll begin moving some of those boxes...or laundry baskets as I told myself I wasn't even going to really pack this time!
