Oh my Gosh!!!

...you just never know what you will see in Spokane!!! This was right here at our house LOL - I ran back - ok I really didn't run but I grabbed the camera and Ben and Mason and Stuart and started snapping pictures...evidently at the bottom of 5 Mile Prairie there is an wild life reservation...so it wasn't a surprise to some that a actual Moose could be up here...but we sure were surprised! Camryn was so funny she said it was so ugly...Mason was telling the poor thing to "get up..." and the next thing you know it stood up!

...and as you can see - there's still snow on the ground...it was snowing this morning when we woke up! I think it's safe to say we are all SICK of the snow...and are anxiously awaiting the spring...the count down to our cruise has officially begun!

Totally giggling at these photos. I remember living in AK and this would happen all the time. Except it was bears. I remember stories from some of the other teachers about how the moose would come in in the summer and eat gardens.
