The 4th of July came and went...

...it didn't even feel like the 4th...with Ben's Baseball Tournament we didn't get to go to the parade - and by the time we were done with our games we were SO TIRED we hardly could enjoy the evening festivities...here's some photos of Ben during the day playing ball...I was too busying enjoying watching Ben hit when he HIT IT BIG...we were on our way back to the 2nd game and I was trying to motivate Ben and I told him I'd give him a hundred bucks if he hit a home run!!! ok so maybe motivate isn't the right word - maybe bribe is better - but motivate him it did...he didn't get the home run but he hit that ball within 5 feet of the fence!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!
It was the last hit of the game and he got a double out of it - they didn't win but I sure was proud of him!!! He did good :) (and it wasn't stopping him that it was 101 degrees outside).







...after the last game we drove Ben home to let him shower and change and then we headed over to Stuart's parents for a BBQ...Camryn was in charge of dessert...this is something that I am usually in charge of but Camryn took over this year :)



I always try to get a family photo on the 4th of July - this year it didn't happen...but I did manage to snap this one of the kids...



...I think I was just too tired to take photos...here's a couple of the fireworks,I did manage to get a great shot - the last one of the night! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!!
