Unity Stamping Co. is sponsoring the sketch blog *CARD PATTERNS* this week...I played along in the sketch over at Card Patterns...what a great sketch this was...I just grabbed a couple of stamps from Unity's April KOTM and got came together just the way I wanted. We are going to give it to Stuart's uncle who is getting married this afternoon...tfl

I love TUESDAYS :)

....why you ask? Tuesdays are my LONG mornings...all the kids are in school...and Mason even longer then usual because he goes straight to the Tumblebus right from I am kid-free till noon - gotta LOVE that!

I woke up early this morning and got in my 2.5 miles so I didn't have to do it last night I had to do it LATE and got home just after now I'm done for the day and I have plans...plans that just involve me :) call me selfish...but a mom has to have time to herself once in awhile!

I am going to be working on some DT projects and then hopefully finish cutting out Ben's quilt top so he can stop bugging me about it...yesterday I was finally able to get back over to the quilt store to get the rest of the material I needed...I had picked up most of it over Spring Break but I knew I was I started cutting the night before last to see how much more I needed.

Last night in between cooking dinner - eating dinner - getting Stuart and Ben out the door for Ben's Baseball Game and then getting Mason ready for his T-ball practice and then to his practice...I started working on a digital LO - well when I got back from running last night I finished it up :) TFL

Everything by Crystal Wilkerson (except Torn Paper and Stitches by Sande Kreiger & Date Elements by Karla Dudley).

Our "Fast" Trip to the ZOO

At the end of every Tax Season we try to do something fun since we miss seeing dad during the busy tax season...last year Stuart and I went on a cruise....this year we took the kids to the Portland Zoo...we had planned on going on Thursday but that meant Ben would have had to miss a WASL day...and that wasn't going to happen so we waited until Friday...and we pulled the kids out of school and off we went!

The kids were super has been quite awhile since we had last been to the Portland Zoo - as a matter a fact...Ben is the only one who's been there and I was pregnant with Camryn at the time. While driving Friday morning...the closer we got...the more it began to rain...but as soon as we arrived...the weather was perfect!

My favorite part about the zoo is ALWAYS the elephants and this trip was no exception...these elephants were really cute...and decided to give each other some loves for the camera! (and one in particular decided to do something else...and all the kiddos watching thought it was the funniest thing ever...I bet you can guess what that was? lol)

The crowds were...practically non-exisitant (a few school groups here and there) and we made it through the entire zoo in about 3 hours - it really was a lot of fun. Each of the kids can tell you their favorite part and not so favorite part...Mason in particular - lol!

...well I could just keep going on and on with the photos...I took 180 photos at the zoo but I think I better stop there. I do have an idea for a great LO :) so I will save some photos for that!

After we finished at the zoo we headed out and about to do a little shopping and of course some eating :) We needed to head back home that night because Ben had a baseball game Saturday pretty early - but we are used to driving and 3 hour drives aren't anything to us :) We are thankful that our kiddos enjoy the car and for the DVD!!!

Tonight - will be another BUSY night for us...Ben has a game and Mason has I was TOO LAZY to get up early this morning...and I have to get in a (short) run sometime before the end of the day...still trying to figure out how to do that! lol

Here are my kiddos: Mason, Camryn and Benjamin. I used several Unity stamps here Amazing Me, April KOTM, Sept. KOTM and Just Circles.

(Bazzill Cardstock, My Minds Eye Pattern Paper, Scenic Route Pattern Paper, Kraft Cardstock, Twine, MME Button, Ranger Distressing Ink, Kaiser Pearls, EK Sucess Punch, Quickutz: Maggie, Heidi Swapp Chipboard Letters, Karla Dudley Digital Elements and Handstitching.)

Easter 2009 - Digital LO

I decided I needed to make myself sit down and finally share Easter...the days just keep slipping I made myself sit down this afternoon and complete a digital LO :) I didn't really get many great photos this year...not one single family photo :( very unusual (oh well it is what it is) but I did manage to get a photo of the kids...they had just finished the egg hunt in the wind and its not the greatest...and I think Ben must think he's getting to old to smile for the camera! What kind of look is that! Everything here is by Crystal Wilkerson over at 2Peas - with a little bit of Ali Edwards (a very favorite memory) and the stitches are by Sande Krieger.'s some photo's of our egg hunt...I am kinda mad at myself that I mostly got the back of the kids' heads this year...what was I thinking!

Here's some BIRTHDAY cards :)

...on this last one I also used some Unity stamps "happy" & "birthday" and threw in a little bazzill and the rest is g.c.d studios: I used Pattern Papers from the Cosette Collection, Majectic Purples Epoxy Stickers, Purple Glitter Letter Stickers, and Majestic Purple Rub-Ons :) tfl

Easter is just a few days away!!!

...are you all ready? I just finished up my bunnies yesterday afternoon :) I used the "What a Pal Bunny" by Unity. Oh my goodness this has got to be the cutest bunny I have ever seen! I made these for my kiddos and their cousins!'s just a couple close ups :) we just need to dye our eggs...and make some deviled eggs and a dessert and we are ready for Sunday! Tomorrow bright and early we have T-Ball photos and then our first baseball game of the season...and then the ever so dreaded Easter egg hunt...but this one is done in the development here at the Golf Course...each kiddo was to drop off a dozen plastic eggs and guess what they only get to pick up a dozen eggs so at least its not this crazy mess and kids freakin' out because they didn't get any...its done by ages also so that should be pretty easy and no stress right? We shall see :)

Happy Thursday everyone!!! :) Wow this week sure is flying by!!! This weeks Hip Hop is a Rewind...and I get to share the Distressed Dots background stamp with you...also on this LO I used stamps from the April KOTM and Our Life, Our Stories. there is also a **NEW** stamp being released "He who plants a tree" for Earth Day! I got to use it here :) (sorry about the dark photo but it was kinda late when I finished up last night and the sun was long gone...) but because I got started so late...there was a surprise knock at the door and it was the UPS man and he delivered a nice box of goodies...and I got to play with my new GCD Studios scrappin' supplies :)

Well now its time to hop on over to...

This LO was created with the Chickadee kit created by Di Hickman , you can find it over at ACherryonTop! This kit just says SPRING all over it!!!

Today is our last day of Spring Break...the kids head back to school tomorrow...and we don't have anything fun planned a matter of fact we've decided to do some Spring Cleaning...and we are going to clean every nook and crany of the entire house :) Check back tomorrow - because I have some more fun things to share but for now - I hear people starting to stir and that means the cleaning must begin :)

TGIF!!! :) Pictures & NEW Unity Projects

Usually I say why do the weeks go by SO FAST....this week I am kinda happy it did - lol...the kids have been home for Spring Break - the weather has been crappy - and they just don't know what to do with themselves...Monday, we went and say Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D, they loved that - it was a pretty cute movie...on Tuesday, we had planned to go on a hike, but the weather didn't allow for us to follow instead I threw the kids in the car and we drove to Yakima and I hit my favorite Scrapbook store :D...Wednesday, we decided we weren't going to let the weather stop up...we were going to make that hike after all! I went and picked up my sister and her kiddos and off we went...

...and that's as far as we got...the wind was blowing, it was COLD...and Mason informed us that his legs were running out of breath! lol Thursday, we stayed home...the kids got to play outside in the morning for a little bit - and then the storm came in this afternoon :( Ben's baseball practice was even cancelled because it was just a downpour!

Today...we don't have anything planned...just hanging out...PIZZA and MOVIES tonight!

Now on to my projects here's some cards and a LO I made...for the cards I used the April KOTM and a sentiment from the Sept. KOTM...and on the LO I used Little Sprout again and pulled out the Sept. KOTM :) tfl

Thanks for stopping by today!
