How did it happen...

...that my baby turned "5".

Yesterday was Mason's 5th Birthday! We had a crazy day...running here and there and everywhere - we had planned on going to STARBUCKS 1st thing but that didn't happen...Grandma did come over and brought a couple of gifts and that made Mason very happy! Then we left to pick up daddy and went out for an early lunch - Mason picked Red Robin - always a favorite in our family :)

..it didn't take Mason long to steal the watermelon from my drink...

...after lunch we headed to downtown Kennewick because we had heard about a new cupcake shop that had opened - and boy were we ever disappointed :( I should have just made my own cupcakes...but at least now we know...I do have to say that the ladies working were VERY NICE...but we were very disappointed in the cupcakes.

...by the time we finally made it home it was already at least 100 degrees outside and all the kids wanted to do was go swimming...so thats what we did...and Mason CAN NOT go swimming without his turtle goggles!

...by now its getting close to 3:00 our day isn't close to being over - I'm already getting tired...be still have to head over to Stuart's parents and then to the Dust Devil Game - and I'm really NOT looking forward to this game since its SO HOT outside...but it is Mason's Birthday so I know I have no choice...

Stuart's boss got to throw the first pitch out at the game and he was so thoughtful and gave that ball to Mason...and then Mason got Dusty to sign it!

...we all ate dinner at the game and then we had Mason's Birthday cake at the game too but it was TOO HOT to really enjoy it...

What a day...busy - and super hot!!!
